This is one of my problems as well I don't understand why they put alot padding under the tongue. It feels like its suffocating your foot. When you go up size heel slippage is unbearable. They finally made a lightweight slimmer air max 90 and they ruined with the useless padding placement

90 insole replacements. Discussion. Hey everybody. My insoles unfortunately went through the dryer by mistake and are of course ruined. Can anybody recommend replacement insoles that fit the air max 90’s well?
Leather is much easier to clean. I had a mesh pair of air max 90's the black and white/grey ones which were sick so probably will get mesh again. Just thrown off since I saw LTR and wondering what they were. Leather ones crease pretty bad. The mesh is easy to clean in most cases. If arch support is what you're looking for, the AM90 is not the way to go, generally. They're comfy, with a decent amount of padding, and sufficient cushioning, but ultimately lack what you desire. That being said, Nike does make an "Ultra" model, which isn't as aesthetically pleasing, but has a bit more arch support and is far lighter than its I'm coming from a shoe called Nike court lite (gen 1 and 2) - not the zoom one - that has been my goto shoe for many years, and the 97s have the same overall shape for the foot fit. I'm very picky when it comes to comfort and have weird requirements (the air monarchs were very uncomfortable for me for example), but the 97s are very comfortable Best.
