I had my timing chain and tensioners replaced 11 months ago at 52,000 miles by a Peugeot dealer, the engine still sounds like a bag of nails, I have read that the timing chain fitted to these engines are made from old sardine tins, not of good quality. I have learned to live with the noise.

I've not looked at the car yet, so I wondered if anyone has any advice as to what to look / listen out for with regards the timing chain and any other known issues to check.
